Ck Plastic Recycling Ltd acquires additional siteCk Plastic Recycling Ltd has acquired the PNF Recycling operation based at Skelmersdale, which has been running as Ck Plastic Recycling Ltd since the 5th October 2009. The majority of the staff have been retained and they bring with them many years of experience of granulation and compounding of a wide range of polymers.The granulation section runs a pair of large Zerma granulators and with this size reduction capability the site can readily process a large range of mouldings, up to wheel bins or extreme sizes of gas and water pipe. The compounding section capability is equally impressive with two 120mm single screw lines and one 80mm twin- screw. With the options to pre blend and pre dry materials prior to processing, the latter important when handling engineering polymers, quality and constancy of the compounded product can be assured. With full laboratory backup from within the group, materials can be supplied with a certificate of analysis if required. Baling capability is important in any recycling operation, and the site regularly compacts film and cardboard for supplying the Uk and export market. For prospective customers we can offer toll granualtion service or even take your scrap back to a compounded pelletif so required. The standard products we offer are black polypropylene copolymer injection moulding compounds up to an MFR of 30g/10mins, and a black high density polyethylene extrusion compound of MFR 0.4g/10 mins.
